OMG Technical Meeting 2008

Date: June 23-27, 2008

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

At the OMG technical meeting in Ottawa, Ontario, Interfacing joined 500 other specialists in the BPM field to discuss OMG standards (such as BPMN) and other technologies. At the conference, nine new and revised specifications were approved by the Object Management Group Board of Directors. In addition, Technology Committees approved five proposal requests.



Gartner BPM Summit 2008

Date: September 10-12, 2008

Location: Washington, D.C.

Hosted in Washington D.C., the Gartner Business Process Management Summit 2008 was a gathering of industry vendors, consultants, analysts, and end users. The forum allowed attendees to exchange ideas and insights on creating and sustaining an agile process-powered organization. Keynote speakers at the event include David Osborne, Author and Sr. Partner of the Public Strategies Group, Dan Roam, Author and Founder of Digital Roam, Inc., and Sara Roberts, President/CEO of Roberts Golden Consulting.



OMG BPM Think Tank

Date: October 6-7, 2008

Location: Chicago, Illinois

At the 4th annual BPM Think Tank, Interfacing joined experts and practitioners from every industry to discuss how process orientation benefits businesses. Focusing on the business-side of BPM solutions, the program featured panel discussions, round table discussion, and case studies. At the OMG hosted event, keynote speakers included Jim Sinur, Vice President of Gartner who addressed the Economics of Business Process. In addition, Meir Levi, CEO of Interfacing, and Scott Armstrong, Business Development Manager, led round table discussions throughout the event.



OMG BPM Think Tank Europe

Date: November 11-12, 2008

Location: Putten, Netherlands

The BPM Think Tank Europe, hosted by OMG, is a meeting of experts and practitioners from the BPM field. Addressing mainly the business side of BPM solutions and process orientation, a series of panel discussion, round table discussion, and case studies will examine how process orientation benefits business. Keynote speakers include Jan Baan, founder and CEO of Cordys, and Dr. Wolfram Jost, Board Member of IDS Sheer AG. In addition, Meir Levi, CEO of Interfacing, and Scott Armstrong, Business Development Manager, led round table discussions throughout the event.
