The Object Management Group (OMG)® - Interfacing is a voting member on BPM standards within the OMG group. The OMG is a non-profit organization dedicated to develop enterprise integration standards for a wide range of technologies, and industries. OMG focuses on modeling (programs, systems and business processes) and model-based standards.OMG’s modeling standards, including the Unified Modeling Language™ (UML®) and Model Driven Architecture® (MDA®), enable powerful visual design, execution and maintenance of software and other processes, including IT Systems Modeling and Business Process Management. OMG’s middleware standards and profiles are based on the Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA®) and support a wide variety of industries. a
   
Founded in 1993 as follow up of the European initiative AMICE, the CIMOSA Association (COA), is involved in BPM oriented enterprise engineering, interoperability and related standards. The main scope comprises evolution of the standardised CIMOSA specifications of Enterprise Architecture Framework and Modelling Language. The COA is actively participating in the development of standards in CEN and ISO as well as in IFAC and IFIP. Members of the COA are industrial enterprises, research institutes, universities, and personal members. a
   

The Office of Govenment Commerce (OGC) is an independent office of The Treasury, a department of state in the government of the United Kingdom. The OGC was created to support the procurement and acquisition process of public sector organisations in the UK. The OGC support best practice models such as MSP, PRINCE2, Management of risk, ITIL, P3O, that have proven to help business projects/initiatives to complete a sucessful life cycle.
