This completely re-engineered EPC will revolutionize your Business Process Management needs. .jpg)
New in EPC 5:
Workflow Manager:
Processes designed and mapped within the EPC can now be automated using EPC’s intuitive and human-centric workflow engine. Define, build and control business processes by routing information via the electronic messaging backbone that is provided by the EPC. Using our workflow engine, EPC content is integrated with the people who use it.
Business Intelligence/Perofrmance:
Cognos’ Business Intelligence (BI) and Performance Management framework has been embedded in the EPC under the name EPC-APA (Advanced Process Analytics). With the APA organizations and users can benefit from real-time business process metrics available from the EPC’s Datamart repository to retrieve a powerful set of dashboards and reports of their company’s analytics, risk and control ownership, resource allocation and more.
Increased Support for BPM Standards, including BPMN:
EPC 5.0 includes the ability to view business processes in multiple standards. This added flexibility is augmented by a BPEL and BPMN validator, guaranteeing consistency for all of your process maps.
Risk and Audit Manager:
The new comprehensive Risk and Control objects helps your business monitor risks, assign controls, record and monitor test data and generate risk matrix reports. With EPC 5.0, your company can ease its way through compliance audits.
Business Rules Manager:
Our new Business Rules engine allows your company to define standardized decision paths for employees and systems to follow as they execute processes. Clarify your business process by defining the rules by which your company operates.
Master Data Manager:
The Master Data manager provides a standardized glossary for storing, managing and publishing the business entities, attributes, and metadata that define your company.
Service Manager:
The Service manager provides a centralized repository for documenting and managing software services, bridging the gap between business and IT. By mapping services in the EPC, your company can orient itself towards a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
