Security Management
Secured Process Content
Effectively business process management implies accountability and responsibility for those processes. The EPC repository provides extensive security to control access to process content. Change control is a fundamental aspect of process management and the EPC’s security model ensures that any changes to process or document content are only performed by authorized users. Administration of security access is easy and can be streamlined at a group or organizational level.
Security can be established for any object within the EPC, either by individual or group. Various permissions can be created to make sure only authorized users get access. And, the EPC can be linked to the active directory allowing automatic authentication when you start the EPC clients. Support for multiple Windows®domains is available, so no matter how your network security is configured, the EPC will fit in.
- Robust, flexible security model to manage varying needs
- Role based security supported
- Security access by individual or groups
- Security profile can be created for every object in the repository
- Integration to active directory supports automatic authentication of users
- Security model extends to both the EPC design client and the EPC Web Portal
