EPC Level 2; Advanced process Modeling

Service Description

This intermediate training covers the areas of EPC that are focused on process governance, including risk and control management, business rules, master data, and services. This training will show you how to identify these objects as they relate to your processes, design optimized processes that make use of these objects, and how to effectively create more effective, controlled processes within the EPC.

Service Value

By modeling processes with additional details such as rules, risks/controls, master data, and services, you add an additional layer of standardization and control to your processes. Being able to isolate risks and rules from the process structure allows you to update processes more efficiently – our training will give your employees the ability to identify, define, and implement these specific business objects along the process structure while designing optimized processes that take them into account.

Service Components

The EPC Level 2 training consists of the following components:
  • How to identify risks and controls and fit them into the process perspective
  • How to rank risks to get a clear view of critical risk factors
  • The implementation of company policy as business rules along the process structure
  • Identification and documentation of data flows as master data entities and attributes
  • How to capture implementation details and business operation touch points of software services.

Service Deliverables

At the conclusion of this training session, your resources will be able to:
  • Create a risk perception heatmap template
  • Perform a risk-oriented breakdown of business operations
  • Create a business decision dictionary of operational and managerial rules
  • Standardize data types as master data
  • Define and document service usage

Typical Service Duration

This service typically lasts 2-3 weeks, depending on the size of the group participating in the training workshops.
