Process Simulation and Analysis

Service Description

This training covers the EPC simulation tool, using processes mapped in the EPC to run simulations, perform activity-based cost analysis, analyze resource utilization, and identify process bottlenecks for the purpose of total process improvement.

Service Value

Process reengineering can often be extremely costly to an organization when forecasted
improvements prove to be insignificant. It is prudent to run simulations to determine the actual impact that recommended changes will have on company operations. Our trainers will teach you to collect the quantitative data required to run a proper analysis to make informed business decisions. Although data collection requires additional resources and time, it is often best to be “safe now, rather than sorry later.”

Service Components

The Process Simulation and Analysis training consists of the following components:
  • EPC simulation methodology and critical success factors
  • Activity based cost analysis
  • Resource utilization analysis
  • Collecting and analyzing/leveraging business process performance data from workflow execution

Service Deliverables

At the conclusion of this training session, your resources will be able to:
  • Activity based cost analysis
  • Resource utilization analysis
  • Process bottleneck identification
  • KPI dictionary and standard templates

Typical Service Duration

This service typically lasts a week, depending on the size of the group participating in the training workshops.
