MyEPC Web Portal

The MyEPC page displays all personally relevant information for each employee. With a completely customizable, FLEX-built portlet interface, employees are able to access the most important information with ease. Portlets containing information on tasks, activities, roles, risks, documents, and virtually any EPC-based material can be accessed.

Process Viewing

Accessed through a tab system, the Web Portal allows users to view their business processes in a customizable and colour coded environment. Select from swimlane, flatmap and design views for superior process assessment and analysis. Content that is linked to each task (.pdf, .doc, URLs etc.) can be accessed by simply clicking on the associated hyperlink. Each employee may personalize their portal, setting the default zoom factor and font size for simplified process viewing.

Collaborative Environment

The EPC Web Portal’s centralized environment encourages collaboration among employees. Discussion forums on all objects creates a place to make suggested improvements, collaborate, and share valuable information. In addition, the EPC provides version control and audit trails in order to track process alterations.

MyWebsite Portlet

Of particular interest to users is the new ‘My Website’ portlet which can be used for embedded website viewing and navigation while remaining within the MyEPC Web Portal. This new portlet allows access to web applications such as Google search, Webmail, CRM systems and more. All in all, the new MyWebsite portlet will allow users to remain within the EPC Web Portal while still providing the freedom to navigate the World Wide Web.

 
Embedded HTML Reports

The EPC embedded HTML Reports give users quick access to the most up-to-minute company performance data. These reports can be scheduled to run automatically on a regular basis, allow users to re-run reports on-the-fly, include run-time data prompt filters, output different formats (Excel, PDF, HTML, XSL) as well as print/save and e-mail local copies, directly from their MyEPC Web page.

Advanced Viewing Capabilities

The Enterprise Process Center’s simplified process viewing capabilities have been made even simpler in its latest release. It is now possible to magnify and hover over objects on process maps. The magnifying glass allows users to increase the zoom factor on selected objects, making small items easier to read. The hover application increases the magnification of objects for a prolonged period, keeping all associated links active while magnified. Combined, these two tools make navigating large maps easier and more effective. These new tools allow users to view and analyze processes in the web portal with ease, reducing the need to print hard copies.

Full Text Search

EPC Web Portal features full text search capabilities, allowing users to search and navigate directly to the desired activity within a process. The search function is especially useful for large processes where navigating to a specific activity within the process is desired.

Direct Links to Processes / Documents (via URL)

Navigate to specific process pages, review, edit, and approve or reject enhancements to processes and documents using the URLs available in e-mails, reports, and documents stored in EPC’s web based collaborative work environment.

Administrator Customizable Interface

The EPC Web Portal can be fully customized by administrators. Intuitive Admin settings for branding the web portal to fit your company’s standard look & feel creates consistency across your organization's applications. Insert corporate logos, change dashboard colours, and create default settings.
