EPC 5.0 Now Available!
Category: AnnouncementsInterfacing Technologies Corporation has launched its new Business Process Management (BPM) design and deployment platform.
The Enterprise Process Center (EPC) version 5 is built upon a completely new framework, combining Interfacing’s experience in the BPM field with a deep understanding of the needs of their clients and modern global business.“We examined hundreds of requests that our customers have made over the last decade and it is easy to see the trend – BPM has matured to the point where it now plays a central role in the management of corporate risk, business rules, IT orchestration, and performance,” says Meir Levi, CEO of Interfacing. “EPC’s strength has always been in giving business users control over the process lifecycle through intuitive modeling, automated approvals, and collaboration. With EPC 5 we have introduced modules for managing the entire range of business and IT requirements in a single platform. EPC 5 is a complete solution,” he added.
EPC 5 features a complete content repository with an architecture that is compliant with modern business/IT standards such as BPMN, BPEL, WSDL, and SOAP. Built on the J2EE platform, EPC 5 boasts a completely modular framework. “The modular design of the EPC allows us to customize the tool’s functionality to meet the client’s needs from small and medium business to global enterprises, also giving our users potential for future expansion as their BPM project gains momentum,” says Herve Tchepannou, Interfacing’s lead software architect. “We were sensitive to the needs of the IT department as well, and have worked hard to produce a tool that will help bridge the gap between business and IT.”
One of the key features of this new BPM suite is the web-based employee portal. “Our new portal was built with Flex technology – it is very cool and gives employees a rich look at company operations, from c-level performance dashboards to individual employee tasks and documents,” says Meir. The new web portal is also designed to access the EPC’s integrated Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tool (powered by Cognos) to display up-to-date information, statistics and metrics to the relevant resources.
The EPC version 5 is currently available. Send an email to sales@interfacing.com for purchasing information.
