Pharmaceutical Giant Selects Interfacing
Category: AnnouncementsMontreal, Canada - February 2nd, 2006 - Interfacing Technologies announced today that a world leader in the pharmaceutical industry (name confidential) chose and deployed the EPC – Enterprise Process Center™ from the Montreal based Corporation as its business process and document management solution. The Pharmaceutical giant's initial project revolved around the standardization of all processes and procedures within their US based national support call center. Since the deployment in mid-January, initial results caused interest to grow at all levels, driving directors to enlarge the scope of the project and increase the use of EPC into other critical areas.
“The EPC success lies within its simple process/content layout methodology…” said Meir Levi, Interfacing CEO. “…deployment occurred within days of product installation – not months or years, as with some other similar products, and more importantly, users and managers alike were excited about the possibilities and impact that the EPC brought to their workspace.”
Interfacing’s EPC software is well known for its user friendly GUI, methodology and functionality, allowing it to quickly gain momentum within the BPM market. High level executives are increasingly viewing EPC as a positive alternative to a number of complex Enterprise Architecture solutions. Management across industries are more and more commonly revisiting their IT solutions, largely because of lengthy learning curves and elevated overhead, but mainly because of the minimal value-add they have experienced upon the initial project completion. Process and document management is no different, if the solution implemented does not receive acceptance from the internal business community, all value is lost and no ROI is experienced.
“The EPC allows processes to be viewed from a high-level standpoint rather then a micro view provided by static flowcharts” stated Julia Pennimpede, an ITC Business Consultant, “during this past deployment, upper management truly appreciated this in that the ‘big- picture’ was clearly seen and bottlenecks and inefficiencies were quickly identified. Moreover, they especially liked the fact that the EPC was so easy to use with virtually no learning curve.”
Interfacing’s consulting services as well as its business tools are designed for long-term benefit. The EPC features are designed to supply users with simplistic and rapid maintenance of their enterprise’s process definitions, workflows and associated documentation (forms, procedures, etc.), permitting an organization to remain current in real-time. External pressures such as competition and technology are constantly forcing enterprises to evolve and adapt to new strategies and execution; those that are not agile enough will not be able to survive. Interfacing’s methodology and solutions ensure that companies do not become a process dinosaur.
