Turn Your Visio Maps Into Business Models

Not a Trial. 100% Free. What's the Catch?

The BPMN Modeler is ideal for small scale process modeling initiatives, adding important mapping functionality to Microsoft Visio®. Once these initiatives grow and users require more advanced modules such as Business Intelligence, Workflow Automation, and Risk Management, it is our hope that users will upgrade to one of Interfacing’s premier BPM products.

The BPMN Modeler represents the first step to building a process centric organization. Once the scale of process modeling projects grows, the BPMN Modeler can export your process models to our powerful BPM suite, the Enterprise Process Center® for complete process lifecycle management and deployment, and to our FirstSTEP® Simulation Engine. Interfacing also offers various BPM & BPMN Modeler web and on-site training courses as well as a range of consulting services that users may require.

Realize the Potential of Process Modeling

A simple add-on to Microsoft® Visio, our Free BPMN Modeler allows you to quickly and easily create, view, edit and publish your business processes in a familiar interface while supporting the standard BPMN process notation.

Using Visio’s powerful diagramming functionality as a base, our plug-in manages activities as ‘objects’ rather than flat text - allowing users to augment the information associated with an activity, increasing the depth of their process maps. Moreover, our modeler provides the ability to drill-down within multiple levels of a business process hierarchy, and automatically generate multiple outputs to visualize how processes interact.

Minimum requirements: Windows XP, MS Visio 2003 or 2007

Model in BPMN

Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), developed by the Object Management Group® (OMG) is the most widely accepted business process documentation methodology world wide. BPMN serves as a communicative tool that enables the smooth transition between process design and implementation; between business analysts & system architects. As the most widely used process notation, BPMN ensures that your process maps will be meaningful to a wide range of people, while maintaining the highest standard of process integrity.

Key Benefits:

Zero Learning Curve
Our BPMN modeler integrates into MS Visio, meaning that your process designers can work in a familiar environment and start creating content instantaneously.

Link documentation to process maps
Link any documents such as procedures, policies, forms, Spreadsheets and URLs for increased knowledge management.

Automatically generate multiple process views
Visualize process interactions between organizational units with the auto-generated swimlane process view or switch to flatmap view, where the entire process hierarchy is expanded into a single flowchart.

Convert Visio shapes to BPMN
The BPMN Modeler allows you to easily convert your Visio shapes to BPMN.

Share your Process Models
Users can publish process models to HTML to share business knowledge with other users over the company intranet.

Take the Next Step: Process Lifecycle Management and Deployment

Extend your process improvement project by exporting your Visio models to Interfacing’s Enterprise Process Center® - EPC.

Analysis & Simulation: Perform quantitative in-depth process analysis (process/activity costs, resource utilization, process bottlenecks, etc.) and “What-if”/ “To-be” simulations.

Process Lifecycle Management: Work within a secure, audited and collaborative environment to minimize manual maintenance of your process models and automatically communicate on-going change to your employees.

Process Workflow Management: Maximize productivity by automating your process flows; execute all human and system-centric tasks and track the performance of your employees

Risk Management: Analyze the operational & financial risks associated to your business processes and implement controls to mitigate the possible likelihood and impact of such risks.
