hasta convertirse en ingeniero industrial y recibir\u00eda un doctorado honor\u00edfico en gesti\u00f3n en reconocimiento a su experiencia en pr\u00e1cticas de fabricaci\u00f3n (adem\u00e1s de ser el impulsor de los sistemas de producci\u00f3n Toyota). Su trabajo consisti\u00f3 en definir la calidad en origen, el flujo de valor a trav\u00e9s de los clientes, la metodolog\u00eda de trabajo con inventarios cero y, sobre todo, su trabajo con el SMED (intercambio de troqueles en un minuto) para el ajuste r\u00e1pido de las m\u00e1quinas.\n<br><br>\nM\u00e1s tarde, en 1988, el Dr. Shingo fue honrado con un premio anual en su nombre (el Premio Shingo a la Excelencia en la Fabricaci\u00f3n). El Premio Shingo se concede cada a\u00f1o a las empresas de todo el mundo que alcanzan el \u201cestatus de excelencia operativa de clase mundial\u201d. El modelo tambi\u00e9n incluye lo que se denomina el proceso de transformaci\u00f3n (conocido como, el diamante). La relaci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica entre los sistemas, los principios, los resultados y las herramientas est\u00e1 representada en este diamante.\n <br><br>\nEl Modelo Shingo no es un programa adicional o una iniciativa alternativa que las organizaciones introducen con otros programas. M\u00e1s bien se centra en los Principios Rectores de Shingo y en la importancia de los mismos en relaci\u00f3n con las herramientas, los resultados, los sistemas y la cultura. En este modelo, los principios se dividen en tres dimensiones (m\u00e1s adelante se habla de ello).<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Herramientas<\/strong><ul><li>Muchas organizaciones cometen el error com\u00fan de centrarse demasiado en una herramienta o conjunto de herramientas espec\u00edfico para resolver sus problemas. Las herramientas s\u00f3lo responden a la pregunta de \u201cc\u00f3mo\u201d y no a la de \u201cpor qu\u00e9\u201d. Esto hace que los miembros del equipo no entiendan del todo el \u201cpor qu\u00e9\u201d, que esperen instrucciones o que sean incapaces de conseguir los resultados ideales.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Sistemas<\/strong><ul><li>Todas las empresas de \u00e9xito est\u00e1n formadas por sistemas complejos, a su vez compuestos por capas de subsistemas, cada uno de los cuales contiene las herramientas necesarias para lograr resultados satisfactorios. Estos resultados exitosos se definen por la excelencia en el rendimiento y el comportamiento.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Resultados<\/strong><ul><li>Este es el enfoque que la mayor\u00eda de los l\u00edderes considerar\u00edan como su responsabilidad clave: los resultados o, m\u00e1s com\u00fanmente, los KPI (indicadores clave de rendimiento). Es importante entender que las organizaciones siempre necesitar\u00e1n resultados de rendimiento o KPI para tener \u00e9xito. El valor del cliente siempre ser\u00e1 necesario para evaluar el rendimiento sobre el liderazgo empresarial. Lo que importa aqu\u00ed es que el retraso de los KPI en una organizaci\u00f3n es un indicador de que no se est\u00e1n alcanzando los objetivos y, puesto que las organizaciones hacen hincapi\u00e9 en los KPI como mediciones del comportamiento, es por tanto la cultura la que tendr\u00e1 que ser abordada tambi\u00e9n.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Cultura<\/strong><ul><li>La base de cualquier empresa es la cultura. Esta es la esencia del modelo Shingo. Todos los principios rectores deber\u00e1n estar arraigados en la cultura. Los principios guiar\u00e1n los comportamientos ideales hacia lo que se conocer\u00e1 como objetivos de comportamiento. Los sistemas se dise\u00f1an con este prop\u00f3sito espec\u00edfico y luego se crean herramientas para apoyar estos sistemas. Cuando una determinada herramienta o sistema no consigue los resultados previstos, los directivos inician el proceso de cambio o modificaci\u00f3n de los sistemas actuales utilizados con la esperanza de alcanzar el objetivo fijado.\n<br><br>\nAunque a primera vista esta metodolog\u00eda parece bastante sencilla, le falta reconocer un componente cr\u00edtico. Los sistemas y las herramientas no pueden hacer funcionar una empresa por s\u00ed solos. Necesitan gente que lo haga bien. Cada persona de una organizaci\u00f3n se comporta de forma coherente con su conjunto individual de valores y creencias. Es el conjunto de todos estos comportamientos lo que en \u00faltima instancia definir\u00e1 la cultura de la organizaci\u00f3n; y la cultura es lo que influir\u00e1 en gran medida en los resultados de cualquier organizaci\u00f3n.\n\n<br><br><br>\n<\/p>\r\n\t\t\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-26e3f82 elementor-widget elementor-widget-tp-heading\" data-id=\"26e3f82\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"tp-heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\r\n\r\n<div class=\"tp-el-section\">\r\n\t<div class=\"tp-integration-section-box\">\r\n\r\n\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"tp-section-title-3 tp-el-title\">LAS TRES IDEAS DE LA EXCELENCIA ORGANIZATIVA\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<p class=\"tp-el-content\">Si observamos las organizaciones que se crean por accidente o sin una gran atenci\u00f3n a la cultura, la mayor\u00eda de las veces tendr\u00e1n efectos negativos de larga duraci\u00f3n. Las culturas construidas en torno a la promoci\u00f3n de aquellos que buscan obtener el poder, podr\u00edan tener individuos que mantienen el conocimiento para s\u00ed mismos en un esfuerzo por mantener la autoridad en la toma de decisiones, ya que confiar en los dem\u00e1s no es posible sus mentes. Esto har\u00e1 que la organizaci\u00f3n reaccione a los problemas mucho m\u00e1s lentamente de lo normal, adem\u00e1s de que las decisiones que se tomen no ser\u00e1n las m\u00e1s convenientes para la organizaci\u00f3n, ya que el responsable de la decisi\u00f3n puede no ser la persona m\u00e1s adecuada para tomarla. Llevando esto un paso m\u00e1s all\u00e1, se puede ver c\u00f3mo las organizaciones cuyos comportamientos fomentan el miedo o la culpabilidad, el modo de supervivencia, las pu\u00f1aladas por la espalda o el malestar general pueden contribuir a las culturas negativas end\u00e9micas de la organizaci\u00f3n.\n<br><br>\nPor otro lado, si observamos las organizaciones que practican la excelencia operativa, vemos empresas construidas en torno a la confianza, la humildad, el respeto, la potenciaci\u00f3n de la innovaci\u00f3n y la colaboraci\u00f3n. La cuesti\u00f3n es ahora qu\u00e9 es exactamente lo que est\u00e1 en la ra\u00edz de estas organizaciones de alto funcionamiento. \u00bfEn qu\u00e9 se diferencian sus resultados de los de culturas menores y m\u00e1s d\u00e9biles? \u00bfC\u00f3mo gestionan la cultura en lugar de que la cultura gestione la organizaci\u00f3n?
