EPC Performance Tracking
EPC contains two performance tracking engines for advanced process analysis and visibility. The Business Intelligence reporting engine (powered by Cognos®) allows users to build, customize, and launch reports on the fly as well as regularly schedule and automate the delivery of reports to their inboxes for comprehensive process analysis. The EPC also contains a Workflow-integrated Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) engine for real-time activity monitoring providing up to date statistics and increased process visibility.

Business Intelligence (BI) Reporting
The EPC's Business Intelligence engine (powered by Cognos®) provides users with advanced reporting capabilities of static information. Custom and out of the box visual reports can be scheduled or produced on the fly with simple drag and drop features, providing statistics on any object in the EPC database. Customized user defined attributes (total time, average duration, delay, cost, etc.) allow users to produce tailored reports of the statistics that are of most importance. Of particular importance is the BI engine's risk assessment abilities where the likelihood, impact, and mitigation effectiveness of potential risks can be reported on a continual basis. The BI engine is designed to give users the statistics and overall process visibility required to ensure that processes are being performed efficiently.
Business Activity Monitoring (BAM)
Accessed via the EPC Web Portal, the BAM engine provides real time performance data generated using the EPC Workflow engine. Customizable dashboards provide users with advanced reports, providing the process visibility necessary to ensure desired performance. Key performance indicators can be associated with tasks and processes, providing a measurement for managers to ensure desired performance. The BAM engine is designed to provide users with the capability to monitor and respond to real world developments.
Performance Management
EPC’s performance management features allow users to create key performance indicators to be used as performance benchmarks. Advanced reports can be produced in the Cognos Metrics Studio analyzing performance trends, providing statistics from all levels of an organization. Whether high level, organization-wide statistics or micro-level, departmental or individual statistics, the EPC’s performance management system provides users with the resources necessary for performance analysis.
MyEPC Integrated BI Reports
The BI engine is integrated directly into the MyEPC Web Portal, which provides management with a personalized, real-time dash-board view of their business units' operations and performance. Reports can be generated in a variety of formats for optimal analysis. Reports can be made available to users through permission settings, providing the security required for sensitive information.
