Turn discussions into action by raising Change Requests from comment threads directly.

Choose the Mode That Fits Your Workflow

Switch between three flexible modes in the Details view:

Viewing: A distraction-free way to browse content.
Reviewing: Leave comments, engage in discussions, and raise Change Requests.
Editing:Update content quickly and efficiently with direct, in-line edits.

Comments are also available in the edit form window, providing ease for authors to view and implement existing feedback while updating the content of an object.

Task Delegation: Ensure Progress, Even When You're Away

With the new Task Delegation feature, you can assign your approval and endorsement tasks to a colleague, ensuring projects stay on track and deadlines are met. No more bottlenecks, no more delays.

Seamless delegation keeps work moving effortlessly

Any tasks created while you're away are automatically routed to your delegate, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You still have the flexibility to complete them yourself if needed. With instant notifications and direct access from their Home Page, your delegate can stay on top of tasks and keep momentum going.

Plus, the audit log gives full visibility, clearly showing who delegated each task and who completed it.

Polished Approvals with Customizable Signature Placement

Organizations can now customize the placement of approvers' e-signatures in approval documents, ensuring compliance with internal standards and formatting preferences. This new feature gives you complete control over signature placement, allowing for different configurations across various document templates.

You can use reserved signature sections, such as the last page or immediately after a specific heading, or inject signatures directly into defined text boxes anywhere on the page. Text box injection is especially useful for approving forms or contracts directly within the tool!

AI Chat Assistant Improvements

The AI Chat Assistant now draws from full chat history to understand how questions connect, allowing it to enrich follow-ups with the right context automatically. This leads to more accurate, relevant answers that feel seamless and intuitive.

With deeper understanding built in, the assistant streamlines interactions and delivers a smoother, more productive experience from start to finish.

Previously, when previewing a document in the AI Chat Assistant, users would view the document’s Details page. Now, the preview directly shows the actual file, allowing for a faster and more intuitive experience without needing to navigate away or click to open a separate page.

For URL and Wiki files, the preview will continue to display the Details page as before, ensuring consistency.

Additionally, the preview window has been refined by removing the AI Chat Assistant’s icon, creating a cleaner interface, while keeping the icon accessible elsewhere in EPC.

You now have the power to decide whether the AI Chat Assistant appears for your users. With the new SEARCH_EMBEDDING_ENABLED advanced setting, you can easily enable or disable the assistant based on your organization’s needs.

Tailor the system experience to suit your preferences, deciding when and if your team can interact with the assistant.

Now you can align the appearance of the AI Chat Assistant with your brand’s identity. Using the new CHATBOT_COLORS advanced setting, customize the button’s color to create a gradient background that reflects your unique style.

Simply input your desired primary and secondary color hex codes to personalize the button’s appearance. The format is easy to follow: {"primary":"#HEXCODE","secondary":"#HEXCODE"}.

For example, the color scheme shown in the video below uses this code: {"primary":"#65b3f2","secondary":"#04a91d"}.

Upgrades in Documentation Management

We’ve redesigned the document creation and editing forms to make the experience faster, smoother, and more intuitive. Now you can focus on your content without unnecessary steps getting in the way.

The document Type field is now positioned at the top of the form for better visibility and a more natural workflow.

Uploading is the new default, since it’s the most common action. Just open the form, add your file, and you’re ready to move forward.

Finding and navigating Wiki content just got easier. We’ve streamlined the Wiki interface to remove unnecessary fields and actions, giving you a cleaner, more focused experience designed specifically for how Wikis are used.

Simplified Detail Page: The File Detail accordion is removed, showing only the information relevant to Wiki documents.
Improved Tooltip Previews: Tooltips now focus on essential options, with the Show More feature for expanded previews. Preview and Open in New Tab have been removed for a cleaner view.
Easier to Find: Filter specifically for Wiki documents in the List view and widgets to locate content faster.

Effortlessly review files without breaking your flow. With file previews in the document edit form, teams can reference uploaded content while making updates, ensuring better accuracy, fewer mistakes, and more informed decisions.

No more outdated or confusing file titles. Now, every downloaded document will automatically match its current EPC object name, ensuring consistency and reducing potential confusion.

This update prevents files from retaining old names, especially after edits, translations, or updates, so you always get a document with the most relevant, up-to-date title.

Keep your content secure with enhanced upload validation. EPC now verifies that all uploaded files match their true file type, preventing misleading or unsafe content from being accepted.

For example, a file labeled as a PDF must actually be a PDF, no hidden formats or mismatches. This ensures every upload is exactly what it claims to be.

Admins can also define which file types are allowed (such as Word, text, or PDF), giving you full control over what enters your environment.

Upgrades in Governance

Whenever an object is sent for approval, the sender’s comments are automatically recorded in the object’s Version History. This added transparency ensures that every approval request is clearly documented and easily accessible, improving traceability.

Whether you’re reviewing past decisions, tracking changes, or ensuring alignment across teams, this enhancement makes it simple to understand the context behind approvals at a glance.

We’re making approvals more efficient by setting Parallel as the default approval cycle type. This means all approvers can review and approve at the same time, rather than waiting for approvals to happen one by one. This reduces delays and keeps workflows moving.

However, if a Serial approval process better suits your needs, you can easily switch between cycle types at any time.

Existing approval cycles remain unchanged, ensuring a seamless transition with no disruption to your current workflows.

With automated notifications, stakeholders assigned to the attestation cycle through RASCI-VS roles are instantly alerted when a pending attestation task is generated.

This ensures the right people are informed at the right time, helping to speed up task completion, accelerate publishing workflows, and keep processes moving seamlessly.

General Improvements

Subtype Filtering is now available in the Collaboration, Governance, and Glossary modules, enhancing your search and navigation experience.

Previously available in other modules, this feature is now extended to these new areas, enabling you to quickly filter by subtypes and find the right objects with ease.

In the Governance module, this helps ensure clearer navigation, especially when dealing with overlapping subtypes across multiple modules.

Managing asset responsibilities just got simpler! When you add new assets to an object, the system now automatically assigns a default RASCI-VS value of “SU” (Support), the most common responsibility for assets.

This enhancement eliminates the need for manual adjustments, saving time and effort, especially in large or complex workflows. By automating this task, your teams can stay focused on delivering results faster and more efficiently.
