How PCMIL leveraged Interfacing’s EPC to streamline SOX and GCS compliance across 100+ processes while saving time, costs, and operational risk.
As part of its commitment to corporate accountability, Pepsi-Cola Manufacturing International Ltd. (PCMIL) faced mounting complexity in aligning its operations with the Global Control Standard (GCS) and SOX compliance. With over 100 mapped processes spread across Excel and Visio and no centralized platform, audit preparations were costly, time-consuming, and vulnerable to inconsistencies.
The absence of a unified documentation system and disconnected role matrices created confusion, elevated risk exposure, and made the audit process highly disruptive. With EPC in place, PCMIL achieved its goal of integrating global control strategies with daily operations:
SOX and GCS audits became faster and less disruptive, with automated generation of Control Matrices, RACI reports, and audit trails

Upcoming phases will focus on automating control testing and audit scheduling to further streamline compliance processes and boost audit readiness year after year.
